I agree that Ad missed this trait in Bingley in P&P2. Another example: When Darcy and Lizzy argues about Bingleys disposition to be decisive or persuadable (chapter 10), Bingley gives them his own interpretation of Darcys meaning. He actually offends Darcy, so he is not always giving way for others but stands up for himself.
