Visiting   Written by Patricia M (1/13/2004 3:42 p.m.)
Are you new?

Since there is much visiting back and forth between neighbors and between homes and villages, how is it possible to visit very much during the winter months? I realize that morning visits are actually in the afternoon, but if it's dark by 4:30, would it be possible to visit very much in the winter? And if you wanted to visit someone who lived five miles away which presumably would entail an hour ride in the carriage one way, how could one visit during those months?
