Funniest, or most pathetic, is how hard she's trying to be the only woman Darcy notices. When he says he admires eyes, she "immediately fixed her eyes on his face" and asks him whose. Did she really expect him to gaze back and reply "Yours, of course!"?

No wonder Darcy finds Elizabeth's arguing with him such a refreshing change if he has to put up with this every time he wants to visit Bingley.
