... is that AD might then have broken up the episodes differently. If he still felt that the second proposal was essentially the climax, then he might have left it until nearly the end of the 7th episode -- meaning that additional post proposal dialogue and events still wouldn't have been included. But we might have seen a few other bits from earlier in the novel OR possibly the dinner party when Bingley & Darcy return to Netherfield (from Chapter 54 in the novel).
