was not ofensive to her, at least, not in the novel. And I don't think she is a very considerate mother. Otherwise, she would not have allowed Jane to get wet in rain, just so that she could meet Bingley.

Mrs. Bennet's only concern was getting her daughters married, which is a good thing, but the way she goes about it is ridiculous, and not at all helping her ultimate goal!
