..took an overnight trip from Rosings. I can picture her sitting in her carriage fuming over this alarming report. She must have convinced herself that Lizzy would be compliant and follow her directions since she is so calm when she arrives at Longbourn. She even has time to look in to the rooms they pass on the way out and judge them.
