JA's point?   Written by Mandy N (2/18/2004 1:15 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, LOL! What really gets me..., penned by Tori Marie
Are you new?

But perhaps such a smooth talking, plausible rogue would indeed find sermon making a cinch? I can see Wickham at the pulpit preaching the evils of lust and gambling as he smiles benignly over his flock, eyeing a pretty young parishioner while reminding himself to 'borrow' from the collection plate at the end of the service to discretely pay an overdue debt. Afterall, Wickham is past master of retaining an exterior of goodness. I'm not trying to make a joke of his bad conduct here. Perhaps JA was making a point about the clergy?
