Mrs. Bennet was hankering after privacy- if any thing, she would wish to show off as much as possible to the neighbours.

But since special licences were expensive to get, and as she felt that Darcy could procure it, it would be another opportunity to show off!
In this instance, her daughter's wedding had far far exceeded her hopes and wishes ever!
