I find the parts of the novel, P&P1 and P&P2 so irksome on Lydia's behavior after she runs away that I frequently skip the pages or fast forward through the video. Lydia is so thoughtless, so careless, so infuriating! Her mother is shrieking and moaning. Lizzy and Jane are so distressed. It is simply too vexing to watch!
