great job on the list   Written by Bridget (1/12/2004 6:14 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, P&P2 Episode 1, penned by Vanessa M
Are you new?

I completly agree with you. I think it is the subtle things that make all the difference when writing a novel or making a movie. It can reveal so much about a character or society as a whole. What really makes P&P2 so different from other period films is that they trully try to get everyting right about the time it was set. I hate it when a movie just uses costumes and sets to try to capture a time period. There needs to be extra consideration to how people acted in that time and what was going on socially, culturally, and historically. I think P&P2 does a good job with accomplishing that.
