] Wickham seems to have a penchant for young girls...Georgiana, Mary (heiress) & Lydia.

What about Lizzy? And we don't know how old Mary King was, do we?

We know very little about Wickham's penchants, except that he had a penchant for trying to marry for money, and that he was willing to take advantage when a silly girl threw herself at him.

That, I think, is the material point.
