There's a saying, "Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle!" which is used colloquially to mean "I don't (or can't) believe it," or "You could have fooled me." It's thought that the expression comes from a misunderstanding of the Darwinian theory that both humans and apes are descended from a common ancestor.
