That is one of my favorite CF moments. The most well-bred, sophisticated man in the room doing something so crude and common... to me it puts a huge exclamation point on just how fed up he is with Caroline's "fine eyes" sniping. I thought it was a wonderful protrayal of frustration and annoyance - even Darcy's excellent control slips under the power of strong emotion.

It seems funny to me that we see it so differently.
