] Georgiana sounds like she's practicing her piece or playing it for the first time, not performing it for an audience

Could it be that we are supposed to think of Georgiana as nervous and/or inexperienced in playing for an audience? I agree that Georgiana should probably be a true proficient, but being so shy she may not be comfortable playing for others -- especially Elizabeth and the Gardiners who are very new acquaintances.
