Absolutely-   Written by Mandy N (2/12/2004 8:05 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, "Does this young lady know the master?", penned by Julianne E.
Are you new?

Far more interesting and romantic to have Mr Darcy show Lizzy over Pemberley! I'm sure JA realized this too. Mrs Reynolds shows the them her domain of the great house then Darcy takes them over Pemberley's grounds; the woods, the views of hills and valley and stream. I note the party crosses a simple bridge. I wonder if the bridge could be seen as symbolic of the progress of communication between Darcy and Lizzy.
