Yes, that's very true. :)

]Plus, he has to make all those morning visits, plus keep up the random seconds of conversation that she leaves open to him in the evenings - he has to have things to talk to her about, and "every single thought that crosses his mind" seems to suit.

LOL! He has so much to do! In addition to what you have said, he also amuses himself with suggesting and arranging such little elegant compliments as may be adapted to ordinary occasions.
