Miss Bingley was not desperate yet   Written by Ramya (2/9/2004 11:07 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Miss Bingleys jealousy, penned by Johanna Elisabet
Are you new?

she only grew desperate on seeing the change in Georgiana's behaviour(talking more to Lizzy, etc.) after Darcy entered the room.

According to CB, Darcy sided with her in seperating Jane from Bingley, therefore his views about Elizabeth would be the same- she certainly does not know about the first proposal.

And, if she had noticed Darcy's obvious lack of interest in her, she would have stopped flattering him a long time ago.
