I'm sure you're right - Darcy would not have said anything directly to either Bingley or Georgiana, but simply "let" them get together (with a few good pushes and hints from him!). As you say, Georgiana was still young, and before Jane came on the scene, I'm sure Darcy felt he had plenty of time to get them interested in each other!
