Boy, am I late in the GR! Anyway, better late than never.

It's noteworthy that in the film adaptation, they ditched that coming forward from either horse or carriage to run into Lizzy in favor of the pond scene and also the further wanderings thru the park until Darcy can catch up to them in favor of Lizzy hurriedly leaving Pemberley before being accosted anyway by Darcy. IMO, it was probably ways to ratchet up the action in these climatic scenes.
