Julie, I'II try not to rave on but this is fantastic. How wonderful to see the Peak District as Lizzy and the Gardiners saw it. A glimpse back in time. I used to romp parts of the English country wondering 'Was that dry stone wall there over 200 years ago'? And 'I wonder if these views are what people saw hundreds of years ago. Did they notice?' This link (and the Re-read) reminds me of course the English genteel classes apart from their sports enjoyed their own scenery. Thanks! Ooh, but I've raved!
