Lizzy, Derbyshire, nature and a bit of a brag, really   Written by Denise S. (2/5/2004 4:00 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Dovedale and Matlock, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

Lizzy and her companions are justly entranced by the Peak district. Does Miss Austen mean us to judge their characters by their responses to such natural beauty - while Lydia & co prefer the bright lights and flesh pots of Brighton?

We used to go out on Sunday afternoons as children with our mum and dad for walks in Derbyshire. We'd walk, and then we children would be left to play while mum & dad wandered off together. Dovedale is still my dear old Aunt Ada's favourite place in the whole world.
