Are you new?

I thought it might be useful( and nice!) to have a look at the Peak District ,as this was the district Elizabeth and the Gardiners visited.

It has not changed much in the past 200 years, and tourisn still playes an important part of the local ecomomey.

Click on the "Peak District National Park" link about half way down the page, for views of the coutryside that Elizabth would have seen and enjoyed on her "Northern Tour".
