... according to Cinthia, the portrait of "Mrs. Bingley" has been identified (which I didn't know before either), and if this is the one JA saw, Susannah Harker in P&P2 must look a lot like JA's idea of Jane Bennet! (I've linked Cinthia's post from the P&P archives below).
