I think that if Darcy had announced that he was going over to the Parsonage to find out if Elizabeth needed anything, after asking pointed questions about her health, or even if he had disappeared for half an hour after asking such questions, those left behind at Rosings would have quickly started adding two and two together, whether or not the Parsonage servants were discreet!

Given the way Darcy and Elizabeth misunderstood each other at this point, I agree that if Darcy had run over to see his sick beloved only to find her up and receiving visitors, he very likely would have assumed that she had engineered the whole thing so that he would have a chance to propose.
