I am with the opinion that Bingely is in real love and was very serious in his regard to Jane. Darcy knows that, and I think that Darcy really considers Bingley a best friend and really cares for him. After the Netherfield's ball and after what was going around Darcy from the Bennets, I don't think he wishs his friend to marry one of them. He was very honest in what he did and he was very frank with Lizzy and that is a credit for him. "it is done, however, and it was done for the best. On this subject I have nothing more to say,";-)
