I've also wondered ...   Written by Jo Y (1/31/2004 11:59 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, P&P2 Episode 3, penned by BarbaraB
Are you new?

about the scene when Lizzie is walking in the woods around Rosings when Darcy comes upon her. I find it odd that she doesn't curtsey; just stands still and crosses her hands in front of her with a somewhat defiant look on her face. Is AD trying to say that she doesn't find Darcy intimidating? I can think of no other instances when her good manners fail her (i.e. not curtseying).
