not in the novel, only in the book. As to his only dancing with the Bingley sisters, it is because he is only acquainted with them, and not with any other woman in the room. Darcy, as a rule, does not like dancing with strangers.

IMO, Darcy merely tolerated Caroline because she was Bingley's sister.
