...in a lot of ways, Bingley would be an ideal husband for a shy young woman. Darcy can feel certain he would be kind to her, and since he has a fairly substantial fortune of his own (in addition to what Darcy knows about him personally), Darcy can be certain that Bingley isn't a fortune hunter. It seems to me that these would weigh very heavily with Darcy, and I don't think it would be such a common combination that Darcy would easily dismiss it. While I seriously doubt that all Georgiana's relations are anxious for the connection, I think that Darcy may favor it. Perhaps we should continue looking for clues about Darcy's opinion. ;-)
