Resistence is futile...   Written by Mandy N (1/30/2004 9:24 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy resists for a week :-), penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

Indeed, I notice after that evening (Ch.31) Darcy called at the Parsonage the very next morning for no apparent reason. During the brief awkard conversation with Lizzy , did anyone else pick up on this sentence, "Mr Darcy drew his chair a little towards her, and said, 'You cannot have a right to such a very strong local attachment...'" I wonder at Darcy's involuntary drawing up of the chair closer to Lizzy? JA never seems to put in details for no reason.
