Good Point..   Written by DeborahAnn (1/28/2004 5:51 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Elizabeth's tender feelings for Colonel Fitzwilliam, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

I wonder too if Elizabeth finds Col Fitzwilliam easier and more pleasant to talk to than others around her? Besides Charlotte and Maria--there doesn't seem to really anyone else to have converse with at ease. Mr Collins who Lizzy doesn't rate very highly in the intelligence department, Lady Catherine who seems to finish everyone's sentences for them. Miss Ann who says nothing and of course Darcy who Lizzy wishes wasn't there at all.

It does seem though that for all the "negative" thoughts/feelings that Lizzy has for Darcy at this time--she is always aware of what he is doing and how much he is watching her whenever they are together?
