Don't be so hard on Charlotte's siblings :-)   Written by kathleen (elder) (1/26/2004 10:47 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Charlotte's brothers and sisters, penned by Nasima
Are you new?

] Charlotte is living in with her family, a number of troublemaker brothers and silly children around her

We really don't know much about Charlotte's brothers and sisters. Maria is the only one that we get to know by name. We do see a young Lucas boy arguing with Mrs Bennet (Chapter 5) -- I get the impression that he is pre-teen or early teen years at the oldest, but the narrator doesn't say. So I don't know that we can say for certain that any of Charlotte's brothers are troublemakers.

Based on Maria and Sir William, however, there does seem to be some silliness in the family, so I will concede that there probably are some silly children around Charlotte. :-)
