I like your description of playing favorites, for sure she was playing favorites,but I wonder if ever she was thinking right she should persuade Collins to Marry Mary, for she knows Lizzy is 'headstrong' and not likely to agree to mary Collins, I think she made a mistake here by not securing a husband for Mary.
