with most of the things you said. Lizzy does seem to be more like her father, whom Mrs. Bennet cannot understand, and Lizzy refuses to play the marriage game like her youngest. But...

Lizzy does not read extensively, according to her own admission, but I am sure she reads more than Lydia and Kitty...

And IMHO, Lizzy may not be a gossip-monger like her two youngest sisters, but speaking so freely to a stranger(Wickham) about her opinions of another person, does seem a little bit gossipy to me!
