Quite likely...   Written by Mandy N (1/24/2004 5:09 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Do you mean Mr. Bennet's example?, penned by Vania
Are you new?

Through Lizzy's life, her father's example in regard to her mother has surely influenced her. Lizzy isn't perturbed by her mother's insistence. '-and Elizabeth sometimes with real earnestness and sometimes with playful gaity replied to her attacks. Though her manner varied however, her determination never did.' Now, doesn't that sound rather like Mr Bennet? I don't think Lizzy is rude to her mother but I'm sure she is aware of her father's management techniques... Actually this may've been the first time Lizzy used her father's example as it's likely the first time she's known her mother, coaxing and threatening.
