P&P2: Mr. Collins   Written by BarbaraB (1/23/2004 12:43 a.m.)
Are you new?

I completed the episode for this week tonight and I had never noticed before that Kitty tells Lizzie that Mr. Collins trod on her foot and tore her gown during the ball. LOL

Also I think I figured something out. I have always wondered why Mr. Collins approaches Mr. Darcy without benefit of introduction particularly since he seems so studious in following decorum and is so full of politeness. There is a pompousness to it all but nevertheless... It occurred to me that he obviously believes that his relationship with Lady Catherine places him in a position to circumvent introductions.
