Question   Written by I. Miller (1/22/2004 6:07 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Bingley doing something rude?, penned by KateL
Are you new?

Are you referring to P&P2 or to the novel in this question? That seems to be the drift of your question, but I am not entirely sure. As to your main question, I am not sure whether or not I should post the answer, but if you read ahead, Chapter 25 deals with this very subject. The passage starting : When alone with Elizabeth afterwards... should answer your question. I hope it's satisfactory.
