how old can we reasonably presume Mr and Mrs Bennet to be?   Written by Aria (1/21/2004 7:08 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Malice comes later..., penned by Christiana
Are you new?

I tend to think of them as at older than my own parents (who are 48 and 51) when in actuality, I would think that if I was a 21 year old in Regency times, at least my mother would be quite a bit younger (she didn't have me til she was 30).

So where can we presume the Bennets ages to be?? I realize it will still be estimates and such, but does anyone have any good guesses?
