in consequence of the missive, Of course he is shy, penned by Nasima
He also behaves like a reserved person who finds himself in a group of people he considers beneath him. ] ,silent and refuses to dance with women he doesn't know before. and finds excuses for his behaviors like the women are not pretty enough to tempt him or sit alone meditating on the fine eyes of a woman ...He doesn't have the courage that Bingley has. It could also be that he is a man who looks at a room full of people, decides that the women are neither attractive or fashionable (which, in fact, the narrator tells us he has decided, so this is a fact, not an excuse), decides without having met the people that they are unintersting (which, again the narrator tells us), and therefore decides not to dance or interact with them. It is not at all clear that he is shy. |
