their opinions...   Written by Emmeline (1/21/2004 11:54 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Diverging opinions., penned by Mandy N
Are you new?

]I notice Jane and Lizzy diverge on opinions as Jane is sure Mr Wickham has been 'very imprudent'. Lizzy points out Mr Bingley is sincere yet only goes by Darcy's assurances. I'm unsure if Jane, who is quite intelligent, is learning to judge for herself or simply relying on Mr Bingley.

I think that they both trusts Mr Bingley, but Lizzy thinks he is deceived by Mr Darcy; while Jane thinks what Mr Bingley says about Mr Wickham, that 'he is by no means a respectable young man.'

But Jane thinks well of everybody that she believes both Mr Darcy and Mr Wickham have been deceived by 'interested people'.

BTW, it is nice to meet you here. :)
