Are you new?

In P&P2 it does not appear that they have a second dance. It appears as if he is upset with her and chooses not to dance any more. However in the book it reads:

"I would by no means suspend any pleasure of yours," he coldly replied. She said no more, and they went down the other dance and parted in silence;

Does this mean that they did have another dance? And did the conversation upset him?
