Seeking proof   Written by Ramya (1/20/2004 9:20 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy intrigues Elizabeth, I agree, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

Lizzy reaction is similar in the case of the Bingley sisters. She has taken an almost instant dislike to them too. So, she is surprised when they behave pleasantly at Netherfield for a while.

When breakfast was over, they were joined by the sisters, and Elizabeth began to like them herself, when she saw how much affection and solicitude they shewed for Jane.
(big snip)their indifference towards Jane, when not immediately before them, restored Elizabeth to the enjoyment of all her original dislike.

But seeing their hypocrisy, she is happy to go back to her original, low opinion of them.

She is a little proud of her discernement, IMO.
