At the Philips', Wickham says "It is not for me to be driven away by Mr Darcy. If he wishes to avoid seeing me he must go."

Wickham seems to be suggesting to Elizabeth, that Darcy feels obligated to avoid Wickham, and that Darcy acknowledges Wickham's morally superior position.

But in fact, at Netherfield, it is Wickham who IS driven away, by the presence of Darcy.
