What is this 'that'? Written by Marvilyn (1/11/2004 1:43 p.m.)

"Yes, indeed," cried Mrs. Bennet, offended by his manner of mentioning a country neighbourhood. "I assure you there is quite as much of that going on in the country as in town."

Something I've always wondered about -- If I'm reading this correctly as sexual innuendo, it stands out as unusual in JA's novels. Is there another meaning that I'm overlooking?
