|Darcy and Lady Catherine - foils

I think that Darcy and his aunt are foils for each other. Lady Catherine is the extreme version of Darcy: overbearing and over-meddling.
Darcy meddled in Bingley's affairs. Darcy then becomes the victim of Lady Catherine's meddlings, as she attempted to persuade Elizabeth against marrying Darcy. That is the poetic justice.
However, in the end, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as it gave Darcy hope that Elizabeth may love him.
