Yes. I dont see any signs (I wish I COULD see some such signs) that he didn't join in with the "Meryton bashing" by teh Binglettes. But from what evidence we have, it seems he did. He sneered at Eliz's looks "She a beauty, I'd as soon call her mother a wit".. he would harldly allow anyone at the Assembly to be worth any notice. Jane (who is generally considered a beauty) is pretty "but smiles too much." Eliz is "Only tolerable" even though she's generally considered to be very attractive. Darcy at this point seems to agree in the main with the Bingley sisters, and to join in their attacking the local gentry, with soemthing resembling enthusiasm. As you say, he's EVEN more criticial since they like Jane and to him she is still at fault fro smiling too much.
