|Tolstoy and marriage

I wonder if Leon Tolstoy considered his own marriage as happy or unhappy? If it was "happy", then it was not very much like other happy marriages...
I have known in real life a Mr Bennet (dead a few months ago, unfortunately) who would tease his wife exactly like Mr Bennet did his, and it didn't seem to me that they were totally unhappy; but his widower, though being not "the cleverest", is an amiable woman.
