the future   Written by Nikki N (10/31/2011 1:54 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Frederick Wentworth, concluded (long), penned by gianni
Are you new?

In teh concluidng chapter, it says -- Mary was pleased that her own sister's husband Captain Wentworth, with 25,000 pounds, "should be a richer man than either Captain Benwick or Charles Hayter", but "had something to suffer, perhaps .. in seeing Anne restored to the rights of seniority, and the mistress of a very pretty landaulette" but she had a "powerful consolation" i.e. Uppercross hall to look forward to in teh future, "and if they could but keep Captain Wentworth from being made a baronet, she would not change situations with Anne."

Is this a hint that that CW will be made a baronet in the future, and Anne will be Lady Wentworth?
