Dormant---I like that word Written by BarbaraB (10/30/2011 9:44 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, a second spring, penned by Amytat

I think dormant is a good word to describe Anne's period of sadness. I think she becomes in personality and looks (older but nevertheless attractive) what she was when she first met the Captain. This is not a new Anne but the rebirth of the original one.
