I dont think he was all that interested in Mrs C in herself, it was just to keep her away from Sir Walter. but once he'd taken her, she could harldy go back and marry Sir W. So WWE might keep her on or not as his mistress. He might get bored with her and leave her or he might find her an amusing compnaion and keep on seeing her.
