He's the second of Anne's three rebounding admirers Written by Tom P2 (10/27/2011 6:15 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Benwick and Louisa, penned by Nikki N

Does a recurring pattern help with the credibility?

Anne turns down Charles Musgrove, and he finds consolation with Mary. Anne disappears off to Bath, leaving a void in the literary part of Captain Benwick's social life, and he finds consolation with Louisa. Anne ignores Mr Elliot's pseudo-proposal, and he finds consolation(?!) with Mrs Clay.

Finally Anne is safely married, and there's an end to her trail of mayhem. :-)
